jimmi sexton played two North American tours with Delta legend Big Jack Johnson, the first in 1996 and the second in 2000 and between tours was a founding member of regional powerhouse the Kelly Bell Band (1996-1999)

jimmi has played with and/or opened up for a variety of artists including: B.B.King, Robert Cray, John Scofield, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, G. Love & Special Sauce, Buddy Guy, Good Charlotte, Buckwheat Zydeco, Bo Diddley, The Nighthawks, Mary Prankster, De La Soul, Medeski Martin & Wood, Little Milton, Coco Montoya, Deanna Bogart, Ursula Ricks and Indigenous to name just a few
